Voki Screencast

To test out the use of Voki as an audio format, I decided to create a digital message for my Kindergartners to add to their portfolios over the weekend!  I told them about my project, and asked them to leave me an audio note with feedback!

Here is a look at my process when working with Voki.

Update with Kindergarten Feedback:

This is a response by one of the children through use of an audio note in the digital portfolio.  One of my favorite parts (besides how absolutely adorable it is!) was that I sent this out on Sunday afternoon and within minutes I had several audio responses from children that they created at home.  I downloaded one of the audio responses and uploaded to Vocaroo to share!

Although I found use of the Voki site frustrating, the end result was a tool that was exciting and meaningful to the children.  On Monday morning, they all excitedly bounced into the classroom knowing about the fun week they had waiting for them!
